Uniform FAQs

Uniform Policy

Who must wear uniform?

Playing uniforms are compulsory for all club players.

They are only intended to be worn on Saturdays for games. For training, players should be dressed in appropriate sporting gear. This includes wearing appropriate sports shoes, and removing all jewellery.

Since 2023, you may choose uniform from our all inclusive range – whichever you prefer. All options are popular, and most teams have some players in dresses and others in singlets & shorts.

Players must also wear the club socks in matches or either your own white ankle cut socks, and hard court sneakers.

Where can l order uniform & club merchandise?

We work very hard with our supplier to keep everyone in quality team wear items that should be worn with pride, on and off the netball court.

Our uniform & club merchandise can can be ordered via our online shop - please navigate to our shop to find uniform that is approved for on court use.

Can l wear jewellery?

Our uniform policy states that players wearing any jewellery will not be permitted to take the court at training and on game days - taping is not an acceptable alternative to removal.

This includes:

  • Earrings and other body piercings
  • Necklaces
  • Rings
  • Bracelets
  • And other decorative adornments

Wedding rings and medical alert bracelets are exempt from this rule, but must be taped down securely. This policy is important for maintaining player safety on the court.

What shoes must l wear?

Specialised netball shoes are essential for players as they enhance traction, support, and cushioning, ultimately reducing the risk of injuries and improving overall performance on the court. Investing in the right footwear is a fundamental aspect of a netball player's gear, contributing to a safer and more enjoyable playing experience.

We recommend that you pay a visit to the team at Asics in order to get fitted correctly for netball shoes.

Can l wear alternative items with my uniform?

No - players must not mix and match their club uniform with other items of clothing (this includes any representative team items etc).

They must stick to the clubs uniform policy.
